Richard Bluestone, Associate Solicitor
I joined Crane & Staples in October 2004 and I am head of Employment and joint head of litigation/dispute resolution. I have practised exclusively in employment and litigation since qualifying as a solicitor in 1996. Prior to joining Crane & Staples, I spent a number of years working for a medium sized law firm in central London. I deal with a wide range of employment issues and act for both employers and employees. In particular I specialise in:
- Unfair dismissal claims
- Redundancy
- TUPE
- Discrimination
- Contracts of employment
- Compromise agreements
- Disciplinary and grievance procedures
In relation to litigation, I deal with all aspects of commercial litigation, including property related disputes and insolvency (bankruptcy and winding up). I regularly appear in the High Court and County Court and I have recently been involved in a leading trademark case in the Court of Appeal.

Outside of work, apart from having 3 small children, my hobbies include listening to all types of music and supporting Arsenal.
