Lydia Hope

I joined Crane & Staples as a paralegal in the family department in September 2021.

I have an undergraduate degree in Biology (graduated in 2020) and I converted to law in 2021 by doing the Graduate Diploma in Law.

In August 2023, I achieved a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law.

I assist the fee earners within the family department in matters such as divorce and childcare proceedings. My role frequently consists of compiling court documents and liaising with existing and new clients.

I enjoy the diversity of my job and that it enables me to assist those in often personal and challenging situations.

Outside the office

My hobbies include singing and I am a trained classical singer with a focus on opera. I also love animals; I am a keen dogwalker and have some unusual pets such as alpacas and mini pigs.
