Amy Tapping
I am a Solicitor specialising in Residential and Commercial Property.
I qualified as a Solicitor in September 2024, after completing my training contract at Crane & Staples.
I graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a First Class Law Degree and a Distinction in the LLM Legal Practice Course in 2022. In 2023, I won the Hertfordshire Law Society Award for the Highest Scoring LPC Student.
I handle a range of Residential and Commercial property matters, including:
- Freehold and Leasehold Transactions
- Transfer of Equity Transactions
- Re-mortgages
- Adverse Possession and First Registration Applications
- Mortgage Redemptions
- Lease Extensions
I have worked at the firm since 2020, where I started as a conveyancing assistant. It has been helpful for me to develop my career and understand how the department operates from different perspectives. I enjoy working as part of a team to ensure clients get the best outcomes in their property matters.
Memberships and Positions Held
I have been on the committee for the Hertfordshire Junior Lawyers Division since 2022, where we organise a range of training and networking events for junior lawyers.

I am also a member of the Hertfordshire Law Society.
Outside the office
I love to travel and socialise with friends. I regularly represent the firm at local charity and community events.
