I started working for Crane and Staples in April 2015 as a Legal Secretary in the Commercial Property department and in October 2017 I became a Graduate Member with CILEx.
As part of my role, I support the firm with the marketing, administration & social media of the charitable and social events we participate in or hold. I also assisted the Hertfordshire Law Society president (our very own Attia Hussain) with organising the Hertfordshire Law Society Annual Dinner 2018.
I graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in 2011 with a Joint Honours degree in Law with Journalism and Media Cultures and completed the Legal Practice Course the following year, also at the University of Hertfordshire.
Whilst studying for the above I worked part time in Tesco’s bakery department and also volunteered at Stevenage Citizens Advice Bureau.
My previous role before Crane and Staples was Events Administrator at the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce.
Outside the office
I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and going for meals out and on holiday. I like keeping up to date with the latest showbiz & entertainment news and I love live music & theatre, so I always look forward to festival season and going to an outdoor cinema when I can.
I also take part in some of the charitable events the firm participate in, this includes completing a 5k Pretty Muddy run in 2016 and a 5k Bubble Rush & 8km St Albans legal walk in 2018.
