I am a Partner in the Property Department at Crane & Staples LLP. I act for individuals, families, investors and businesses on a broad range of residential and commercial property matters, from first-time purchases and home moves through to development projects, refinancing arrangements and business acquisitions. I am particularly experienced in dealing with high net worth clients in a wide range of property transactions.

Background

I qualified as a Solicitor in 2006 and joined Crane & Staples in 2018, becoming a Partner in 2022. Prior to joining the firm, I gained experience at a variety of practices, including a small London law firm, a regional practice and a UK Top 100 law firm.

Throughout my career, I have advised on a wide range of transactions, including residential conveyancing, commercial acquisitions, development projects, refinancing arrangements and business purchases involving property assets.

I am proud to be recognised as a Legal 500 Recommended Lawyer and a Chambers & Partners UK Ranked Individual. I was also named Winner of New Business Champion of the Year at the British Conveyancing Awards 2021 and Runner-Up Company and Commercial Lawyer of the Year at the 2024 Asian Legal Awards.

Alongside my client work, I am the firm's Training Principal, responsible for the recruitment, training and mentoring of trainee solicitors. I find this role particularly rewarding and am proud to have seen so many former trainees build successful legal careers.

I am also actively involved in the local Hertfordshire community, supporting sports teams, schools, business events and charitable initiatives. Recent activities include conducting mock interviews for students at Bishops Hatfield Girls' School and supporting Welwyn Garden City Cricket Club, where Crane & Staples sponsors the junior teams.

Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling, reading and writing short stories. I am a passionate supporter of Liverpool FC, play cricket for Welwyn Garden City Cricket Club and enjoy the occasional round of golf, albeit with mixed results. More recently, I became an ECB-qualified junior cricket coach and will be working towards obtaining further coaching accreditation to help support and encourage the next generation of local cricketers.
