Taking on the Isabel Hospice Yorkshire Three Peak Challenge

Isabel Hospice Yorkshire Three Peak Challenge!

This June, staff members Elizabeth Russell and Tom Axon will be taking part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in aid of local Welwyn Garden City charity Isabel Hospice.

The challenge is a 25 mile walk completed in just 12 hours! The three peaks, Ingleborough, Pen-y-Ghent and Whernside, form part of the Pennine range in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Crane & Staples support a number of local charities throughout the year and we are always happy to help the Isabel Hospice so when Elizabeth and Tom heard about the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, they both thought it would be a great way to continue these efforts, raise awareness and raise lots of much needed money for a very worthwhile cause.

Neither of them have ever done anything like this before so whilst it will be a challenge, they have some much needed training ahead of them and to date, they have raised a fantastic £515 of their £800 target!!

Every year, our Private Client team participate in the Hospice’s annual “Make a Will Week” scheme and are pleased to be able to give their time free of charge to people who may not have access to a solicitor and who wish to make a Will, with the hope that people will support the Hospice by making a donation either directly or via a gift in their Will.  At Christmas, instead of sending cards to our clients, the firm makes a donation to Isabel Hospice.

If you would like to support Elizabeth and Tom in their challenge, please visit their Just Giving page https://www.justgiving.com/Liz-Tom/ or text ‘GWYS68, £5 (or the amount you would like to donate)’ to 70070.
