Switching on for Christmas

The countdown to Christmas begins today with the festive lights switch on in the town centre.

We will have a stand just outside the Howard Centre entrance from 3pm today. Why don’t you come along and say hello? We have mince pies and chocolates and lots of fun things to do, including our specially made Christmas photo booth! Remember to tag your photos "Crackersaboutlaw"

It should be lots of fun, with an appearance from Father Christmas, a street market, fairground rides and the lights will be switched on by Billy Byrne of DIY SOS fame.

We are also supporting the worthwhile charities of the Hertfordshire Domestic Violence Helpline and the Women’s Refuge.
