Crane & Staples Go “Wicked” for Screen on the Green 2025

At Crane & Staples Solicitors, we are proud to be part of the Welwyn Garden City community. That is why we are delighted to sponsor this year's Screen on the Green, organised by Wonderful WGC.
From Thursday 14th - Sunday 17th August, the Screen on the Green will bring local residents and businesses together on the green in Howardsgate for some movie magic.

We are sponsoring the Wicked Singalong at 6.30pm on Friday 15th August 2025.
To celebrate, we decided to do something a little different. Our team put down their paperwork, picked up some broomsticks, and created a fun Oz-themed video advert to be shown on the big screen before the films.
🎬 A Self-Made Adventure in Oz
Our video was completely self-made and filmed during breaktimes in and around our office. Inspired by Wicked and The Wizard of Oz, the short film features members of our team introducing our legal services in a playful and theatrical way.
While we may not be ready for the West End just yet, we can promise that we are far better lawyers than we are actors. Most importantly, we had a great time making it, and we hope it brings a smile to the audience before the film begins.
💚 A Special Thank You to Our Little Stars
A heartfelt thank you goes to the real stars of the show, the little munchkins. These adorable roles were played by the children and grandchildren of our staff, and they stole the spotlight!

We would like to thank Wonderful WGC for organising what promises to be another fantastic event. Screen on the Green is a brilliant celebration of local culture and connection. It is a privilege to be part of an event that brings families, friends and local businesses together in such a joyful way.
