Crane & Staples Celebrates Qualification of Two New Solicitors
Following the successful completion of their training contracts with the firm, Crane & Staples is pleased to announce that Mira Patel and Jonny Baynes have both qualified as Solicitors.
Their achievements represent an important step in their professional journeys and reflect the hard work, dedication and commitment they have shown throughout their training. We are proud to see both Mira and Jonny begin the next stage of their careers with Crane & Staples and look forward to supporting their continued development.
Mira Patel
Following the successful completion of her two-year training contract, Mira joins our Property Team as a Solicitor specialising in residential conveyancing.
During her training contract, Mira has been an outstanding trainee, excelling in her legal work and consistently delivering exceptional client care. She has embraced being part of the Crane & Staples team, representing the firm at a variety of events and demonstrating the values of Excellence, Empathy, Integrity and Community in everything she does.
Mira's professionalism, determination and positive attitude have earned the respect of colleagues, clients and professional contacts. We are thrilled that she will be continuing her career with the firm.

Jonny Baynes
Jonny has qualified as a Solicitor in our Family Law Team, where he will be advising clients on a range of family law matters including divorce, finance and child arrangements.
His qualification is a milestone for the firm, as Jonny is the first Crane & Staples trainee to qualify through the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) route. Whilst working full-time, Jonny studied for and successfully completed his SQE examinations, achieving excellent results and demonstrating his commitment to becoming a solicitor.
Throughout his training contract, Jonny embraced every aspect of life at Crane & Staples. From captaining the firm's football team to serving as Treasurer of the Hertfordshire Junior Lawyers Division, he has consistently demonstrated leadership, enthusiasm and a willingness to contribute beyond his day-to-day role.
Jonny's calm, measured and genuinely friendly approach has made him a popular colleague and trusted adviser among clients and professional contacts alike. These qualities, combined with his legal expertise, make him exceptionally well suited to a career in family law.
