Retirement of Eileen Ismay
After 35 years at Crane & Staples, and an extraordinary 48 years practising as a solicitor, it is with a mix of pride and sadness that we announce the retirement of Eileen Ismay on 30th September 2024.
Eileen has been an integral part of Crane & Staples, having served as a Partner (2007-2017) during a critical period of transformation and growth for the firm. Her astute judgement and steady guidance have been instrumental in steering Crane & Staples through both challenges and opportunities.
Her vast expertise in Wills, Trusts and Probate work has been matched by her ability to forge lasting and meaningful relationships with clients, making her an exceptional ambassador for both the firm and the legal profession as a whole.
Eileen is highly respected by colleagues and clients alike, not only for her vast knowledge and professionalism but also for her warmth and generosity. Her thoughtful gestures, including the regular supply of homemade fudge and cooking apples, will be fondly remembered.
While we will all greatly miss Eileen in the office, we wish her every happiness and fulfilment in her well-earned retirement. Her contributions to Crane & Staples and to the legal profession have been immense, and her legacy will undoubtedly endure for many years to come.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Eileen, and we wish her the very best in this next chapter of her life.
Below are a handful of some of the kind messages and testimonials Eileen has received from clients and colleagues.
