Scam Warning: Fraudulent Website and Correspondence

Following reports made to the relevant organisations, we are pleased to confirm that, as of 2 September 2026, the fraudulent website www.staplescrane.com is no longer available. We remain vigilant and encourage clients and members of the public to continue exercising caution if they receive any unexpected communications purporting to be from Crane & Staples LLP or any similar organisation. If you are ever unsure whether a communication is genuine, please contact us directly using the contact details published on our website or through a known member of our team. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide further updates if necessary.

We have been made aware of a fraudulent website and correspondence using a name similar to Crane & Staples LLP.

The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) has issued an official scam alert (SRA - RGC-000194815) regarding a website operating under the name "Staples Crane Solicitors LLP" and correspondence purportedly sent by an individual calling themselves "B. Davison".

Crane & Staples LLP has no connection whatsoever with:

The website www.staplescrane.com
The email address b.davison@staplescrane.com
Any correspondence issued by "B. Davison"
The entity "Staples Crane Solicitors LLP"
The office address 1 Angel Court, London EC2R 7HJ
